Qualifications and Talents Sought:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license for the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to design and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and federal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide resources, support, and training as needed for school personnel and families
