School Speech Language Pathologist - Holliday, TX

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, including assessment, goal setting, and intervention
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Ability to manage a caseload and complete necessary documentation timely and thoroughly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to student abilities
- Implement evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services within the school setting
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Provide support and resources to classroom teachers and families to promote generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Stay current on practices in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development
