Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Kentucky licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles is highly preferred
- Comfortable providing services across elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in coordination with educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
- Maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress, and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
- Adapt intervention methods to meet the diverse needs of students in a school-based environment
