Required Qualifications:
- Current and active Kansas SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language services preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for students in elementary grades
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Provide direct therapy and consultation, adapting interventions to maximize student progress
- Document student performance, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer support and resources to parents, caregivers, and instructional staff
- Collaborate with fellow SLPs and related service providers to ensure comprehensive care
