Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP-CCC credentials
- Active Kansas SLP license in good standing
- Previous experience with school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students EC-4
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote successful learning environments
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and compliance documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to plan and review services
- Provide consultative and direct therapy for a diverse range of communication needs
