Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathology state license required
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials accepted
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device experience is essential
- Passion for working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans
- Implement a variety of therapy techniques, including AAC-based strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for holistic support
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
