School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Shasta Lake, California

This full-time, itinerant position offers the chance to work dynamically across 3-4 school sites, providing essential services to a diverse student population. You’ll manage a caseload of up to 55 students, ranging from those with speech and language disabilities to those with more complex needs, including autism and intellectual disabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Appropriate state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- CTC (California Teaching Credential) preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and compliant documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for a caseload of up to 55 students across 3-4 school sites
- Serve a broad range of ages and needs, from early preschoolers (age 3) to 8th graders
- Work collaboratively with teachers, other related service providers, and families
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Travel between assigned sites to support students in a variety of educational environments
- Document services and student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
