Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California state SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and staff
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and legal requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children
- Support students in both individual and group therapy settings, utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Develop targeted, measurable goals and contribute to IEP meetings as a vital multidisciplinary team member
- Maintain timely, accurate records and progress reports following school and state guidelines
- Engage in collaboration with educators and families to support student growth holistically
- Provide consultative support and in-service training for school staff as needed
