Exciting opportunity available for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to make a difference in the lives of students. This contract position is ideal for both experienced clinicians and those just beginning their Clinical Fellowship Year, offering a supportive educational environment near La Mesa, CA.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicants welcome
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide a variety of services including assessment, intervention, and consultation
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Provide direct and consultative services to students in a variety of educational settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress and compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility evaluations, and ongoing professional development
