Key Qualifications:
- Active state license and credential required for school-based speech-language pathologists (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience providing assessment, intervention, and therapy in a school setting
- Familiarity with a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families
- Ability to travel onsite as required; remote work is not available for this position
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 38-40 students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy and intervention services
- Collaborate with school teams, attend meetings, and update documentation in compliance with regulations
- Serve as a resource to school staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies for continuous student support
