Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of North Carolina
- Will consider Clinical Fellows (CFs) as well as seasoned SLPs and travelers seeking a rewarding assignment
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (no virtual options available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
- Engage in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
- Contribute to a positive school atmosphere through inclusive practices and advocacy for student success
