Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLPs
- Previous experience working within a school setting is a plus
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused, able to engage with students of diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy for students with a variety of needs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop personalized intervention and treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear, compliant records for reporting purposes
- Participate in IEP meetings, family consultations, and school staff collaborations
- Provide guidance and resources to educators and families regarding communication strategies
