- Ability to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Commitment to building a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students (individually and in small groups)
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate and consult with staff and parents about communication disorders and interventions
