Positions are full time and support both elementary and secondary students, with in-person responsibilities. Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License (WA SLP License) required
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly desired
- Previous experience in K–12 educational settings, working with diverse caseloads
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for students at both elementary and secondary levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for caseloads up to 45 students at secondary level and 42 at elementary level
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student progress and success
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with school and district policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Attend IEP meetings, staffings, and continued professional development sessions as required throughout the contract
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
Work Schedule & Assignment:
- Contract position for the 2026–2027 academic year
- Full-time, in-person role beginning August 31, 2026, and ending June 17, 2027
