Early Childhood Speech and Language Pathologist in Georgetown, DE
A contract opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate to provide early intervention services in a school setting located in Georgetown, DE. This role offers flexibility with full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time availability, starting ASAP through June 26, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor functioning, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays.
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing appropriate to student needs.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations.
- Work comfortably with early intervention students.
- Develop and maintain individualized education program (IEP) objectives.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and progress.
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be qualified to hold a Delaware state license for SLP practice.
- Experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adapt to student and program needs.
