Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current, active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Minimum of one year school-based SLP experience
- Ability to obtain/complete all Pennsylvania state clearances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of managing an itinerant caseload and adapting to changing needs
- Reliable transportation for travel between sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech-language disorders within school-aged populations
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Serve as a valued partner in multidisciplinary teams, contributing expertise to best support each student’s development
- Participate actively in school meetings and consultations as needed
