Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Scottsdale, AZ
Step into an impactful contract role with the opportunity to support students in grades 4 through 12 during the 26/27 school year. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to help learners affected by Autism develop essential communication skills. This full-time, onsite position offers 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to work closely with students and be part of their growth journey.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Arizona
- Hold a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- DOE school certificate required
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children, especially those impacted by Autism, is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop strong rapport with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across grades 4-12
- Work with learners with a range of communication needs, focusing on those impacted by Autism
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and measure progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school requirements
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings
