Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in preschool early intervention. We’re seeking two dedicated professionals to serve children across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. These rewarding contract positions provide itinerant support within the preschool and early intervention programs. With an opportunity to potentially move into school-age assignments during the academic year, candidates should be ready to work with students from PreK through 12th grade. The main office is based near Schnecksville, PA, though your placement may be in either Carbon or Lehigh County.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license and educator credential (Instructional I or II) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or comfort working in school-based or early intervention settings
- Demonstrated flexibility in serving varying age groups, from preschool to high school
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and proficiency with itinerant schedules
- Willingness and availability for in-person service only
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool and potentially school-age students as assigned
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor student progress
- Adapt to changing caseloads and locations as assignments shift throughout the school year
- Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings and participate in IEP processes
