Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Schnecksville, PA
Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists with a passion for preschool and school-age students! Two positions are open for SLPs to provide itinerant early intervention services in Carbon and Lehigh Counties. These contract roles are ideal for professionals enthusiastic about working with a dynamic caseload, primarily in preschool, with the flexibility to support K-12 students as assignments evolve throughout the school year.
You'll play a pivotal role supporting communication development and fostering inclusive learning environments in partnership with educators, families, and children. This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week commitment, following an early intervention calendar year, with the assignment set to begin on July 6, 2026, and extend through June 11, 2027.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Valid Pennsylvania educator credential (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with preschool early intervention and/or school-aged populations
- Ability to travel within Carbon or Lehigh County for itinerant services
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and adapt services as needed
- Flexibly serve both preschool and school-age students where assigned
