This K-12, full-time position (8:00 am to 3:00 pm) involves working across one or two buildings, addressing a range of communication needs, including those of non-verbal students. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license for the state of PA or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates
- Previous school-based experience is an advantage
- Commitment to serving students in grades K-12, including those with significant communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy in small groups or one-on-one, adapting techniques to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document and track progress, maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
- Rotate between buildings as assigned, serving a varied caseload
