Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license or eligibility to practice in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience with pediatric populations or in school settings is highly valued
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and document student progress
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students
- Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals focused on communication skills
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure a supportive learning atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
