Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Passion for working with elementary-aged students and supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based therapy services for students with communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in line with school and district policies
- Support educational staff through consultation and training on communication strategies
- Engage in parent meetings, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings as needed
