Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active New York SLP license
- TSHH or TSSLD certification (DOE)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students in a school environment
- Complete evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor services for each student
- Provide training or resources for staff and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain professional compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
This contract position offers a consistent weekly schedule at 32.5 hours per week, giving you the work-life balance to enjoy both professional fulfillment and personal time.
