Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a middle school caseload (approximately 45 students), with caseload specifics determined by assigned sites
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Facilitate consultation with teachers and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in faculty and team meetings, providing expertise in speech and language development
- May serve one school or travel between multiple middle school sites, based on district needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English)
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
This position offers full-time hours (37.5 per week), but part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
