Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to meeting compliance and credentialing requirements (including timely completion of fingerprinting and application for a JLA badge)
- Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and different age groups (specifics discussed during interview phase)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, adhering to established IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate daily with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of all required documentation
- Serve one school location each day, providing consistent support and intervention
