This contract opportunity invites an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with a varied caseload of 40-45 students, utilizing expertise to assess, treat, and collaborate within a supportive school environment.
Your day will begin at 8:30 AM and end by 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, supporting the diverse communicative needs of children through both direct and consultative services. From phonological disorders to language delays, each day offers the chance to make a difference with your clinical skills and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in Maine
- Either CCC Certification or CF accepted
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Flexibility in approaching a wide spectrum of student needs
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students in K-5 with a broad range of speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely records and contribute to IEP development
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families and educational staff effectively
