Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates eager to gain experience in a supportive environment
- Background in school-based or pediatric speech and language therapy
- Experience with teletherapy platforms welcomed, though primary services are provided in person
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals in line with school standards and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy within the educational setting
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and ensure timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
