This contract opportunity provides variety, growth, and the chance to make a significant impact. Working 40 hours per week, your time will be divided between a K-8 school and an Early Childhood Learning Center—enabling you to serve a diverse range of students and developmental needs.
Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload of approximately 68 K-8 students, including around 15 who are medically fragile or have significant disabilities. At the Early Childhood Learning Center, you’ll support about 65 preschoolers as part of a collaborative approach to balance caseloads for the best student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with K-8 and preschool populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Exceptional communication skills for working with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to support medically fragile students and those with moderate to severe disabilities is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students on an IEP
- Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation of services and progress
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Adapt communication strategies for a wide range of student needs and learning environments
