Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a meaningful impact in K-8 educational settings. This full-time, onsite contract assignment runs through June 10, 2027, providing essential speech and language services across two school locations working with both elementary and middle school students.
Applicants must possess an active California SLP license and Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). Please note, positions for SLPA or remote arrangements are not available for this opening.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Current SLP-CCC credential (required)
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children in educational settings is strongly preferred
- Confident managing diverse caseloads across elementary and middle grades
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with team members, families, and stakeholders
- Dedicated to working onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as part of their educational programming
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Consult regularly with educators, administrators, and parents regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Support IEP processes, meetings, and reporting as needed across two assigned school sites
