School Speech Therapist | San Rafael, California
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide speech and language services under a maternity leave contract in San Rafael, CA. This position offers an opportunity to work in an elementary school with a supportive team, serving predominantly general education students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade.
This contract role begins in early February and runs through the end of the school year. The schedule includes five days per week with approximately seven hours worked each day. The caseload currently consists of 56 students, supported by a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) two days per week. The caseload focuses on students in the general education setting, while another SLP handles the specialized day class population. This position is based at a single school site, making it ideal for clinicians interested in school-based practice within a collaborative environment.
Qualified candidates should possess one or more of the following credentials: SLP certification for schools, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility, or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Applications from Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered.

- Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering therapy services to students in compliance with district and state guidelines
