Desired Background & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (CFY applicants encouraged)
- Experience working with pediatric and elementary populations in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with IEP development and case management
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Positive, proactive approach to serving diverse student needs
- Prior exposure to healthcare or teletherapy settings beneficial
Position Details & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve two elementary-centric school sites
- Provide direct therapy to a varied caseload (with a primary focus on elementary ages)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and craft individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete IEP documentation and progress reports accurately and on time
- Consult with staff and parents, offering strategies for language enrichment
- Participate in meetings and professional growth opportunities
- Role runs from mid-August 2026 through June 2027
- Standard full-time schedule: 37.5 hours each week
