In this role, your expertise and commitment will help students improve their communication skills and confidence, enabling greater success both in the classroom and in daily life.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Hold an active SLP-CCC credential
- Current Arizona SLP License
- Valid Arizona Educator Certificate
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience working with PreK–8th grade students in a school setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, school staff, and families
- Organized, adaptable, and skilled at individualized care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language services to a diverse PreK-8th caseload (details finalized upon placement)
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Offer guidance and resources to families regarding speech/language development
- Remain onsite during contracted hours (no remote or virtual roles)
