Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a valid Arizona SLP License
- Possesses SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Maintains an active AZ Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Card is required and must be current
- Recent school-based experience preferred
- Comfortable serving a caseload spanning PreK-8th grade (exact caseload assigned upon placement)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in an onsite school setting
- Engage effectively with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques to fit the needs of a diverse student caseload
