Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with IEP processes, assessments, and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptable and collaborative approach to working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with district guidelines
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings and provide expert consultation as needed
