Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English
- Previous experience in school settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse, multilingual student population
- Maintain clear, thorough records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress notes
- Communicate progress and strategies with teachers, staff, and caregivers
- Consult with educators and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques to fit both in-person and virtual delivery as needed
