Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license from the DCA required
  • California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in SLP Services
  • Experience with school-based caseloads, ranging in age from early childhood to transition
  • Fluency in a second language is highly valued
  • New graduates and clinical fellows welcome (supervision provided)
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working onsite; remote options are not available
  • Open to out-of-area travelers seeking a California placement

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and support for students across various sites as assigned
  • Complete necessary documentation, IEPs, and progress reports
  • Engage in collaboration with staff, families, and administrators to foster student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to functional treatment planning
  • Support transition and early childhood programs as needed
  • Embrace ongoing professional development throughout the assignment
