School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Bernardino, California

Three onsite SLP positions are available, serving either elementary (K-6) or K-12 grade levels. Two roles are in Victorville, focused on K-6 students with manageable caseloads of approximately 55 students, alongside SLPA support. One position is in the Needles area, working with a K-12 population, also supported by SLPAs and benefiting from relatively consistent caseload limits. For the Needles-based role, some travel may be required, including up to a two-hour drive one way to Monument Peak. All necessary mileage for this will be reimbursed, enabling you to dedicate your focus to your students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Clear Credential
- Experience providing SLP services in a school environment
- Strong collaborative skills, working effectively with SLPAs and school teams
- Comfortable managing elementary or K-12 student caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person assessment, intervention, and therapy to students, adhering to IEP goals
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for holistic student support
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
- Support and mentor SLPAs as needed within your caseload
