School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Bernardino, California
Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for students in a dynamic and supportive educational environment. This contract position is designed for passionate professionals eager to make a daily impact, working full-time (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) with a diverse caseload of 70-75 students across grades PreK through 12th. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5, 2026.
You will support a variety of students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs, collaborating with educators and families to help each child reach their fullest potential. The position offers the chance to see the growth and progression of your students over multiple school years, providing both challenge and fulfillment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly valued
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 70-75 students independently
- Strong collaboration and communication skills working with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Comfort working with students from preschool through high school
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Providing direct therapy services, both individual and group
- Progress monitoring and maintaining clear documentation
- Engaging with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Participating in parent meetings and professional development as needed
