Pediatric Grades 6 - 8 School Speech Language Pathologist - New Braunfels, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
- ASHA certification preferred in addition to required state licensure
- Experience providing SLP services to pediatric populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Familiarity with a wide range of communication disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12 within an engaging educational setting
- Assess, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address unique student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to facilitate student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer training and consultation to faculty and families to enhance support for students with communication challenges
