What We're Looking For:
- Valid SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
- ASHA certification preferred, in addition to state licensure
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations
- Comfortable supporting students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work full time (37.5 hours per week) for the duration of the contract
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and family members to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Track progress, adjust interventions, and advocate for necessary support and resources
