Two full-time opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about fostering communication and academic growth in K–12 students. You’ll have the chance to choose between working with elementary-age children in a traditional school environment or providing targeted interventions to students with disabilities in a specialized setting.
Qualifications:
- Current and active North Carolina State SLP license required
- SLP-CCC certification preferred
- Previous experience serving elementary student populations (for elementary setting) or working with students with disabilities/low-incidence needs (for specialized setting)
- Strong ability to conduct evaluations, manage IEP processes, and deliver direct therapy
- Familiarity with adaptive communication (AAC) a plus for those interested in the specialized caseload
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Duties:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K–5 or K–12 students, depending on assignment
- Conduct assessments, deliver evaluations, and contribute to IEP goal writing and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, families, and other support staff
- Utilize evidence-based practices to implement interventions and adapt therapy for diverse student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
