Two exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech and Language Pathologists eager to make a meaningful impact in education settings. These contract positions focus on supporting students’ communication and language development, with one opening serving rural schools covering Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, and the other based at a single school site supporting preschoolers ages 3-5. Both roles offer a supportive environment and the chance to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing caseloads of 35-45 students
  • Willingness to travel to multiple rural sites for the TK-8 role; preschool role is single-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and attend required meetings
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Communicate regularly with parents and team members regarding student growth and challenges
