Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Skilled in student evaluations and assessments
- Proficient in drafting, updating, and implementing IEPs
- Experience attending or leading IEP meetings
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and re-evaluations for students identified by the school team
- Provide direct therapy services for a diverse caseload (assignment details to be confirmed)
- Write, update, and track student progress via IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support academic and social success
- Maintain detailed records while meeting all compliance standards
- Travel between multiple school sites as assigned; travel time is compensated
This full-time, contract position (37.5 hours per week) runs through the end of the school year and offers a competitive hourly rate of $70–$90, reflecting your skills and the meaningful difference you will make.
