School Speech Language Pathologist - Saint Paul, MN
Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a diverse group of students in a school-based setting near Saint Paul, MN. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering targeted, high-quality speech-language therapy to a small caseload, including both in-person and virtual services.
Your expertise in school-based speech therapy and strong communication skills will help you provide direct, individualized support for 3-4 students, each receiving 30-minute sessions. In addition to on-site services, you'll deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy to a student enrolled in the online academy. You'll work closely with a supportive special education team, including a dedicated director, to enhance student learning outcomes.
What you’ll bring:
- Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based therapy and a strong understanding of K-12 educational settings
- Proficiency in both in-person and virtual therapy delivery
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans, document session progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech-language therapy to students as scheduled
- Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the needs of both onsite and virtual students
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates to staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and support staff
- Foster a welcoming, supportive, and positive therapeutic environment for all students
Work schedule:
- Monday: 10:40 am – 4:15 pm
- Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 am – 4:15 pm
