School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Saint Paul, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in the greater Saint Paul area. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in dynamic school environments and values making a difference within elementary caseloads.
You’ll begin your assignment providing essential coverage for a maternity leave, specifically supporting at Justice Alan Page. This phase is anticipated to last until Thanksgiving break. Following that, your dedicated expertise will benefit students across various buildings as you provide coverage for additional leaves. When interim coverage is not required, your skillset will focus on delivering compensatory services to students who missed crucial speech services earlier in the year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota SLP license required
- Current Credentials as SLP-CCC
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to flexible assignments and adapting to changing caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language interventions for students
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Adapt to rotating assignments and varying locations as needs arise
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for IEPs and service delivery
