Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minneapolis, MN

Initially, you'll provide coverage during a colleague’s maternity leave, working alongside a dedicated team to support students and staff. After this period, your assignment will shift to cover additional short-term leaves within various school buildings. If no immediate leaves require coverage, you'll have the chance to ensure students receive compensatory services, addressing any missed sessions from earlier in the year. Each day brings variety, new relationships, and a real sense of purpose.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- SLP-CCC certification
- Current, active Minnesota state SLP license
- Experience working with elementary caseloads preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to shifting assignments or campuses
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Support continuity of services across multiple sites as needed
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Provide compensatory services where necessary to ensure all students’ needs are met
