School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Saint Paul, Minnesota
Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment near Saint Paul, MN. This contract assignment is perfect for a flexible professional who thrives on variety and enjoys supporting students’ communication success throughout the school year.
In this role, you’ll start by supporting the Justice Alan Page Elementary community, covering a maternity leave at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. After Thanksgiving break, your focus will transition to providing coverage for other school buildings as leave needs arise. When not covering leaves, you’ll play a key part in delivering compensatory services to students who missed sessions earlier in the year. This ensures all students receive the ongoing support essential for their academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Current MN School SLP License
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to quickly adapt to different environments and student needs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Complete evaluations, documentation, and progress reports as required
- Travel between buildings as needed to fill leave vacancies or provide compensatory services
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with special education regulations and district policies
