Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children or within schools preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education staff and teachers
- Create engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to students’ unique needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development activities
