Speech Pathology - Saint Johns, FL
Step into a dynamic environment supporting student success as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) for a full-time contract assignment. This role provides rewarding opportunities to work with students from PreK through 12th grade across multiple school sites in the Jacksonville area. With an estimated caseload of about 60 students, you’ll serve diverse learners with mild to moderate needs, making a measurable difference in their communication skills and overall academic achievement.
Start as soon as possible and continue the assignment through late May 2026, working a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with school teams and families, utilizing your expertise to empower students with the tools they need for lifelong success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required)
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Comfortable working itinerantly across multiple campuses
- Strong skills in evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration
- Organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing varied caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in PreK–12 settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with communication needs
- Document services, track progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for service delivery
