Speech-Language Pathologist in Clearwater, FL
School districts in the Clearwater, FL area are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for both full-time and part-time contract opportunities beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 2026. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with teams across multiple school settings
- Passion for helping students achieve communication goals and access the curriculum
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, speech, and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and ongoing planning for student support
