Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required
- Prior experience in school settings with pediatrics preferred
- Strong teamwork skills, especially in collaborating with SLPAs and other educational staff
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with the SLPA to ensure effective delivery of therapy goals
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and create tailored therapy plans
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and other team members to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
