Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience or interest working with pediatric populations, particularly in K-12 school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms for providing virtual services when needed
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills within educational and healthcare frameworks
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to individual student needs and learning styles
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and screenings for K-12 students with speech, language, or communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and school requirements
- Deliver therapy through in-person and/or teletherapy models
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate, organized records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Provide training, resources, and support for teachers and caregivers to foster communication skills beyond the therapy setting
