Grades 9 - 12 Grades 6 - 8 School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Round Rock, Texas
Support the academic and communication development of students across multiple grade levels as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. In this contract position, you will work with elementary, middle, and high school students to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will help students achieve their full potential in an educational setting and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in kindergarten through high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for assessments, services, and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families as needed
